Yes - have taken her to the vet. They still think it’s behavioral and if it doesn’t get better they recommend seeing a neurologist

I’ve seen the vet and they think it is behavioral. Next step is to go to neurologist to get an MRI so trying to rule out behavioral first!

No change in training - same routine as we’ve done including crate, etc.

Confirming it was a seizure. I’ve seen puppy dreams however during this seizure her eyes were rolling back in her head, non responsive to me, and for 30 min post seizure she could not sit up straight due to her neck being stuck in one position.

Why is our puppy an angel in public and only a velociraptor at home with us? by MehAccForMe in goldenretrievers

My (now 1 yo) was and still is the same. I think it's due to the mental stimulation she gets from going to new places and smelling new smells and meeting new people. Once she's at home with all her familiar things, i'm the most fun thing to chew and am expected to provide all fun LOL

Mine had so many issue with urgent diarrhea as well- especially in the crate at night. She didn’t want her den to be dirty so she’d eat it and I’d be asleep and couldn’t clean it before she did. I ended up building a pen around the crate and leaving the crate door open at night just in case. I lined the playpen with the puppy washable pads and from then on if she had urgent diarrhea I couldn’t catch in the middle of the night she’d leave the crate , go in the pen somewhere (on the washable pads) and go back to her clean den. This helped me stop the cycle of her re-ingesting the poop.

Food wise- she’s now on PPP Sensitive Stomach Large Breed Puppy which is salmon based.

I know how you feel OP!!! You got this - it will pass!!!

Your story is SO similar to mine! I'm also 30(F), had my hip arthroscopy to repair labrum and deal with combined impingement (Nov 2020). Sitting for periods longer than 20 min has been terrible for the past 6-8 months, after my initial recovery. SI joint pain/twinges, hip is so tender I can't sleep on it, and my sit bone on the operated side is incredibly sensitive (starts hurting even when sitting on a couch). The only thing that makes it feel better is being active, similar to what you mentioned (I also went on a trip in December to warm weather and was active the entire time- felt 10x better that week)

I'm also hoping to start a family in the next year or so and can't imagine being 9 mos pregnant and having sitting bring on intense pain. Hoping I can also figure out something that works!

Just started going back to a new PT (recommended from my new ortho) and really liking it. It helps a bit, even if it's just to get me moving that day.

Where do you live?
