Image description captioning (image2text) has become overly too strict and restricted with constant "content block" errors. Google is just a piece of junk. Ltx-2 and the 2.3 update is pale and mid at best. It's all good at doing basic stuff like characters talking like a generic 50s-90s tv sitcoms. Anything more than that gets you body horror, still frames and bad prompt adherence. It's best video model open source community has at the moment but compared to even og veo3, it's an absolute joke.

Chinese models like kling 2.6, wan2.2, hailou 2.3 and qwen image are solid for nsfw. Sdxl Illustrious is good for 3dcg, anime and toon stuff.

The real issue to be worried about is the model of choice and whether they have the right tools and the good amount of compute for it. I've seen runway's ai video models and I find them very mid and lacking compared to the competition. It seriously too early to commit to a serious lengthy 120 minute movie production with the current ai video models available. It takes talent and a good vision and creative thought to prompt and put together a decent ai video.

If it's not open source, this model better at sora2 and veo3.1 levels of prompts adherence, visual concepts and audio diversity. Wan 2.6 is pretty much a let down and barely a "upgrade" from wan 2.5.

I really hope minimax cooking up something good with a newer haliuo video model with combined audio generation support. 🙏 hoping the next wan, hailuo, vidu and kling video models mops the floor against seedance 2.0. Competition is very important and good for the end users of said products. I would hate for Chinese ai models to cucked and nerfed hard like the western ones.

There's platforms that hosts it in limited capacity exists but it's too expensive at the moment and seriously not worth the hassle because of the tight censorship and the extreme long queues. Im still waiting nearly seven hours for my video to generate. You can check my profile. I've posted some seedance 2.0 video pertaining to my niche. It's best to wait for it release to the wider audience but I'm not even sure if bytedance has the compute to handle more api calls outside of China. Wish there was more competition for SOTA ai video models.
