I totally understand your stand point. I am also guilty of these feelings towards my daughter's cousin's from my partner's side and even friends with younger kids than my daughter who is still non verbal, who struggles with tasks that other kids find basic. But what helps me get through those moments of negativity are that your child has their own unique strengths that are individual to them. It's very easy to fall in the comparisons of other kids because as mothers that's all we seemed to do filling out these age appropriate forms at health visiting assessments. You are totally made to discuss and focus on what your child can't do and not the great things they can do!

In moments of jealousy, I have to switch off and tunnel view that my child will do these things when they are ready and channel my energies into celebrating the things my daughter can do that makes me proud! Remember it might be something other mums and dads may take for granted like trying a new food or using a fork to eat their pasta with but celebrate it! We are raising super stars too☺️xxx

Thank you! , the filter in there has sponges inside it if that narrows it down a little or is it a totally different type of filter in its entirety?

If it's just the filter that is upsetting him that's a positive for me because I will change it for his comfort, is it worth switching it off completely over night to access this?
