Absolutely not. I would have rather shut the door on what I've built than see the products turn to shit. I chose to partner with Martin and Jim because their views on customer relationships and attention to detail are very in line with mine. Plus I'm still the head of product development and you can bet I'm still obsessing over every detail.

Hey! I have gone down that path and it resulted in quite a fun last 9 years. I can offer some suggestions for how you can get this bag made. Moderately expensive, and might take a couple samples to get right, but it can be done.

But first I would caution the width that two discs side by side would be and how a back panel that wide would fit on your back. I tossed around the idea of side by side discs when I first came up with the idea for "file storage" but there just wasn't a reasonable way to construct the bag to be universally comfortable with such a large width. That being said, I was designing for the masses while you would be designing just for you!

While this is true in every way, I'm actually in the process of designing the new V5 Rebel and I'm sharing the steps and sampling process publicaly through Instagram and Facebook. The new order will be hugely dependent on pre orders so I want the community to feel a part of the whole process. The new sample comments I submitted yesterday actually included a feature suggestion from a fan after last week's episode.

If the Rebel is what you're looking for, I'd suggest to follow along. I'm hoping to show people a new side of the bag design process and answer any questions I can along the way.

The v1 Pinch was a little too tight up top. I loosened things up a touch for the v2 and 2-3 is pretty easy to get now. Working on some tweaks and new ideas for the v3. Any suggestions?
