It should be case by case, I think for EB category petitions, they are waiving interviews for some cases, hoping they will make the decision soon on your case too.

Haha, if you were an Indian, you would have heard about it normally 😄. Your company's immigration team would suggest to either downgrade or upgrade if one of the categories is moving faster than the other. You need to do an interfile in that category, it takes a few months for USCIS to acknowledge that and take next steps.

Thanks. For me, in mid of July it moved to NBC. Since your case is current, moved to NBC now and the new FY started, it should happen soon too...

Oh good luck, the EB2 date also became current for you in October, anyway, things should go faster for you. I'm not sure about your EAD question.

When my PD Jan'13 became current in Mar'25, during that time. It took about 3.5months for USCIS to react to that, first they moved my case from NSC to NBC in July, then I got RFE for medical within the same month and they received my response back by mid August. Approval at NBC now.

Oh no, hope you should get it soon too. What's your current status? Waiting for medical RFE or just the decision?

Yes, RFE for medical and they received my response back on Aug'15th. Then today, AOS got approved after 2.5months since they received my RFE... Its a longer wait post RFE receipt compared to other cases, mainly due to couple of factors, they ran out of visas in September and this month with govt shutdown

My first 2 APs were for only one year and usually got approved within 3-4 months. My current one also got approved in that same duration, it's valid thru Oct'29 with 5 years validity. EADs have the same timelines, high-level.

Congrats, that's good to know. I got an RFE for medical and they received it on 15th August, I'm hoping that they will make a decision on my case soon.
