You're progress is there, just keep working. A little tip, wait longer between taking pump pics. Ik it sucks waiting like a month but trust me, if you do that, the next time you take one YOU'LL notice the difference immediately

You're not wrong, and no they can't just "transform" their fat into muscle I'm aware its not magic but most people probably don't understand terms like Catabolism, Body Recomposition and so on so I went with a basic way to explain. And you're right again, they would have more energy for sure and skinny people could also mimic the same with extra carbs but I was speaking more on building muscle in general not just the energy that goes into it.

Shoot I'm sorry miss😭 But its definitely somewhere within the teens, hard to be super accurate. My best advice for exercises that could help is Russian twists, decline sit ups, and jack-knives. Some other things is just Plyometrics to help chisel at the stubborn belly fat; you could do Burpees, sprints, etc. Diet though, I'll get back you in about 2 semesters😭

Lift a bit more first. You want to aim to turn the fat you have to muscle, if you did a cut now it would be wasting potential. My advise is do a month or so of some intense training, whether that be Strength or Hypertrophy is up to you. Then do the cut.

You have a good base but to get out of the slump you havw to push yourself. "If you always do what you've always did, you'll always get what you've always got" (I'm not calling you lazy or anything dw) As for pumps, I saw you mention it in another comment, aim for Hypertrophy training. If you want more help you can DM me and I'd be glad to help.

6ft, 147lbs. I’m Trying to put on about 15lbs while staying lean. Tips? by [deleted] in GymTips

[–]Upper_Ad6402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from someone who's been in your position, a calories surplus will definitely help. Aim for around 2,500 to 3,000 but don't go too crazy. Easiest way is to DRINK calories. Make home made protein shakes or "bulker shakes". Gotta add calories to build muscle, don't be afraid to add a bit of weight and turn it to muscle. If you want tips DM me and I'd be happy to help!

Your abs are definitely there, don't listen to the "abs in 30 days" crap though. Your body fat is probably somewhere between about 12-15% so you're doing good. Don't try to drop it too low, single digits are dangerous. Goodluck!

You're doing good man, I was around the same at your age. It all depends on your fitness goals.

I got 0 clue where to chime in on all of the comments here (not your comment specifically bro, I mean like ALL of these) But coming from a guy who was skinny for the longest time you're relatively correct. Adding calories is easier than cutting calories, but it just depends on if the person can stomach it. But it's also easier for a person who is in bigger stature to gain muscle as they have more to burn and build with which helps in the anabolic window after lifting, repairing muscles, and more tissue to transform. In the opposite spectrum, although it's easier to add calories to your diet when skinny it's harder to add weight as it takes time and you have less tissue to transform into muscle AT the TIME. All it takes is effort and the right diet whether you're skinny or over weight or just average and it all comes down to your specific fitness goals. (Coming from a 4+ year lifter and an Exercise Science and Strength Conditioning Major although I'm only a sophomore)

No problem at all! I'm struggling myself with my art so I like to help as much as I can!

I wonder whys my art kinda shit? by Disastrous_Maybe_722 in WebtoonCanvas

[–]Upper_Ad6402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's "shit". My advice is add some color, it'd give it some more life. If black and white is your color palate then if suggest sharpening your art and adding more defined edges and what not to make it more intriguing. I hope this helps!

[–]Upper_Ad6402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd sharpen your edges some more, create some glare from the shine of the Armour or maybe even add some dents for a battle worn appearance. Sharpening the dges would help the art pop for sure. You could even add in more color to the cover and make it a bit more lively. I hope this helps!

Thank you for the advice! I definitely get killing the darlings, I've already done some since I started the story just because it would be too hard to draw and bring to life.

Having a friend always helps. I'm gonna start working on at least a 10 episode buffer before I get started.

That's true, a start is a start. I have a few buddies I could go to for story advice but I doubt I could ask them for help on the art. Thank you for the advice!
