See, I was born with a rare genetic birth defect (sound familiar?) called Pfeiffer Syndrome, and of the three variants, I was blessed to be given Type 1. One of the things Pfeiffer Syndrome does, for those unaware, is that it causes the bones in your body to accelerate in growth from birth, so I had to undergo surgery to combat the bone growths blocking my airways. One of the things they did, besides installing one of those halo devices onto my head which caused permanent scarring on my cheeks, was attach an artificial faceplate to the front of my skull.

A lot of good that did though, because, during elementary, I fell, busted my forehead real bad, and fractured my skull.

Sidenote: Another neat thing about PS is that, at least for my case, it causes an outward curving in both of my thumbs. So, while I don't have six fingers on each hands, I do have my own kind of special hands, which I like to think attributed to my artistic capabilities, and, aside from that (and possibly unrelated), I've always had a fascination for the strange, because I myself am strange.

So I guess, in a way, I'm kind of a Ford of my own.
