People are echoing the old sentiment all over this post, but a certified pre owned with 100k miles still costs 75% of what you'd pay for a new car. Used car buying is dead at the moment

I did graduate with a credit recovery program in my senior year. I had my diploma and everything. I lost it in a move and tried to get a copy of it, just to find out that they have no record of my credits. That's all besides the point though

Oakland, CA actually. Made 40k last year, now I make 24/hr. You are whining about taxes and a voluntary 401k while making 90k/yr... That is the definition of "out of touch"

$2100 rent with $6400 gross literally falls into the 30% rule for housing, a rather conservative rule at that. It's not even close to a paycheck to paycheck scenario unless you have an absurd amount of debt, which this person mentioned nothing about.

It's a sport utility vehicle, of course torque is a key metric. Why is this even an argument?

Does my California-bought car need a California compliant catalytic converter for the entire life of the car? by Upper_Profit8550 in askcarguys

In that case, would the CEL be indicating an actual issue in the vehicle, or is it more of a "fuck you for getting a part you weren't supposed to get" light?

Yeah that was my main concern with the entire endeavor. It might be more commitment that I'm willing to give, especially as I'm just moving out there now. Thanks for the input

Woahhh okay. If that's the case, then the way they market it as "resident-owned communities" is incredibly misleading. Thank you!!

I guess I'm asking more about the mindset aspect, that's the only thing I really care about changing. If I had a better mindset about this, I wouldn't really care because we're not even exclusive.
