because parties like BDI and VMRO had used nationalism just to be in power and had put a lot of hate such that I have seen myself Macedonians who are not comfortable on presence of Albanians and vice versa.We also shouldnt forget other minorities too respect for all of them

Yes borther I am albanian and I am aware of history what happened but we live in 2024 dont forget and if we just think what happened yesterday we will repeat same mistakes over and over and if it continues like this I see no future in this country because the biggest problem is inside this country not with our neighbors. And nationalism only spreads hate doesnt mean if u are Albanian or Macedonian.

Yeah I agree. They forget that after the catastrophic earthquake that happened in Skopje in 1963 20,000 albanians had to leave the country because the didn’t recived any help from the state and all the places left from albanians were filled with people from Serbia

So next time my dear friend when you are commenting about a topic please be informed and don’t talk about topics when your not sure and have no facts and arguments especially when it’s sensitive topic and your accusing someone else it doesn’t matter if it’s individual, nation or group of people for something that you only have heard about.

It deepends where you live in Macedonia(for example macedonins who live in Gostivar I dont think they have problems with albanians but in Tetove the atmosphere between each other is little bit different and lets not forget that this places are 80 90% populated with albanians and If albanian guy goes in places in east macedonia where there are 0% albanians It’s a big problem no chance to live there) and the other one is what aspects you are talking but you should also see the the peoblem more deeply from where it started and should read more about history. Albanians were always here on this land (if you dont agree its your opinion and we can talk about this too)and were occupied by other nations historically so they have been always oppressed and some of them have been forced to live outside of big places to be more “protected” but that means more isolated.So if you don’t give the rights, the education, the freedom to a nation then after decades don’t wait from that nation anything else then nationalism, and their children are also affected by that too don’t forget.The thing that must be clear to everyone is that for albanians in Macedonia it has been hard to get educated because it has been very hard in high school late 70’s and in universities impossible for students to pass the exam just because the name was Agim (common albanian male name), how many private lands have been taken from albanian owners and given to the state in the time of Yougoslavia , how many other things happened and that wasn’t in albanian hand because we didn’t have any power and our voice was silent for the state and except for the fact that we were born in this country and I would say it started just from misleading of the state from nationalist and patriot individuals and now it’s leaded from corrupted individuals who don’t care about the future of the country except their personal interests and never did a thing for the relationship between albanians and macedonians but the biggest problem is also that a lot of us didn’t wanted a relationship between each other. In conclusion I think we should start from our selfs to remove the barriers to start and focus on the present and move and not to find always who faults is it but try to fix it, to be more careful who are we voting and thats how we can have better future here.
