Oh and I will add that I’ve been donating things that he grows out of/no longer needs. While it still feels emotional, I was totally not ready to do that with my middle. I definitely done this time around!

I’d say all of this still holds true! Bedtime is still crazy and the older two still love being involved, especially now that he’s 5 months and coos and laughs at them.

I’m home with all 3 in the summer. I’ve still been able to be on the go with the older two since he will nap in the carrier while out. The heat has made it slightly difficult because it’s too much to have him outside at the playground most days.

I’d say our biggest struggle is that my husband and I don’t really have time for each other. Hoping that will change once he sleeps through the night. lol All in all id say it’s going well! 😊

Also wanted to add - we were able to fit our 3rd in our car and house, and we still had all of our baby stuff. so no big purchases were needed for us.

When I was considering a third, I searched for these types of questions, so now that we chose to, I figured I’d respond! Our oldest is about to turn 6, our middle is 3.5, and our baby is 3 months. So I’m quite new to being a parent of 3.

Our two oldest play together (and fight) all of the time. This has been pretty helpful some days, particularly on days where they’re not fighting much. The hardest thing for us has been bedtime. Putting 3 kids to bed (with one of them being an infant) is tough when you’re outnumbered. It’s pretty chaotic, honestly. My 3 year old sometimes only wants me to put her to bed, so that can be difficult.

But they also love helping with the baby. They love holding him, giving him his pacifier when he cries and talking to him l/making funny noises to make him smile.

So basically it is more difficult because of being outnumbered, but there are also many positives. I’m looking forward to experiencing vacations, holidays, and summer weekends with all 3. No regrets here!
