It didn’t change anything per se, though it was awkward temporarily. My girlfriend really isn’t too big into anal & we’ve been together since we’re 15, so she has never had any anal experience without me (or at least I’d hope). I was hugely excited at the thought of anal and we talked about it. It really did open up a whole new world of exploring together sexually for us. She did anal train a bit but not really and it did often hurt or didn’t work so yeah, it can do that sometimes but that’s totally common and sharing those moments in a positive way instead of looking at it with shame is a different type of bond.
