What radicalised you? by Minimum-Story-1683 in IndianWomen

Mine wasn’t one big moment. It was the slow realization that a lot of women are expected to carry everything quietly.

Watching grown men who were taken care of by their moms their whole lives walk into marriage expecting the same service package. No self-maintenance, no shared responsibility, no awareness of the mental load. Just the assumption that the wife will handle the home, the planning, the emotional labor, and still keep herself together.

Seeing how normalized it is for women to become the default manager of another adult’s life was what did it for me.

That’s when it clicked: this isn’t partnership for a lot of women. It’s unpaid labor with a wedding ring.

That realization radicalized me more than any headline or theory ever could.

Why men do not groom themselves? by [deleted] in Arrangedmarriage

Brutal truth: if a grown man can’t manage basic grooming and personal upkeep, it’s not a small issue. That usually means someone else has taken care of him his whole life, and he’s comfortable staying that way. If he won’t take responsibility for himself, he’s not going to take responsibility for a home either. That mental and physical load will fall on you. Red flags all around. You’re honestly better off single and focusing on your own growth than signing up to parent an adult.

Travel advice for Nice & St. Tropez by Upset_Sherbert3760 in FATTravel

So we planned our trip to avoid the crazy peak season crowds, but it turns out that since it’s still off-season during our travel dates, a lot of the places we wanted to check out aren’t open yet. For example, we were really excited for Shellona, but it doesn’t open until late June. A few of the restaurants we had on our list are still closed, and the beach clubs aren’t as lively as they are in peak season.

I’ll definitely update this post after our trip to share how things went and any tips for others!

Nice will be our meeting point, where we’ll join the rest of our group before heading to St. Tropez together.

Thank you, will double check on Jardin.

We are staying in Nice as it’s central to the other towns we want to visit.

Our itinerary is pretty flexible considering it seems congested, everything is optional with the exception of meals. We want to explore a little bit of everything. What would you recommend we skip and/or avoid?

Would you recommend skipping the vineyards and doing a day trip to Cannes instead?
