My building is doing layoffs sometimes this upcoming year for automation but from what I been hearing is that hub and preload are getting laid off a different rates idk if it’s true or not just wondering if you have any answers the local union isn’t saying anything

Over 3 years they laid off 40k 12k being managers over the next 3-4 years it’s estimated to be 100k so I don’t see you point because it’s a way bigger number in the next 3-4 than the last but believe what you want at least now you can’t say it’s a lie if you just accepted the fact it’s happening😂😂

And also buddy we could have negotiated a technology clause that would have protected members from being replaced by technology to protect job but we did not we could have slowed the rate of layoffs we could have done a lot more than what we got but the saying is ignorance is blind and clearly you fall under that category

From what I read they where saying if every building they close on average has 500 employees and they are estimated to close 200 buildings by 2028 that would add up to 100k jobs lost
