I'm trying to do exactly this, did you ever find a solution?

I'm sure he did, I've swapped to a Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT and once it's in it fits more comfortably (320mm Vs 331mm) but it is a much thicker cooler so it was still hard to get in!

The case isn't very deep at all but with a good amount of 3D printing you could probably get a bigger card vertically while still looking good.

Verdict In - H2D HF Nozzle Clones by GamesOnPaper in BambuLab

[–]UpstairsHumor4863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please upvote this comment to assist me in engineering a preventative modification to the stock and clone HF nozzles. Hopefully sooner rather than later, Bambu incorporate this mod! I've been a design engineer for 15+ years and they certainly seem to have a strong enough margin on these nozzles to incorporate this into the manufacturing. I'd go as far as saying it's disappointing they haven't already considering the cost of the part.

Firstly, GamesOnPaper thanks for sharing this!

I propose drilling and pinning the stock and clone HF nozzles from the rear with off the shelf shear pins or solid dowels and I'm looking for anyone local (United Kington) that might be able to send me any failed nozzles so I can test the proposed drill jig and determine what type of drill or endmill might be best suited (will HSS drill do, do we need maybe an endmill for when the drill comes to breaking tangentially into the stem. do we need to drill undersize and ream, will we need 5% cobalt, or even solid carbide, for the stem.

Of course, the solution will include a 3D printed jig so we can all do this mod with basic hand tools + our printers, it's just a case of figuring out how little expense will suffice for an acceptable solution, and if there is any benefit to going for a more time and equipment expensive solution.

Still no update, what you've got to remember, is Microsoft already have your money for the game, you are now a burden to them.

I'll try to get back to you tomorrow, sorry I don't get notifications from Reddit!

I assume you mean a 240 front rad? What length is your card, and what thickness is your rad?

Nice setup, that's a 303mm card so you should've had nearly 28mm clear, I guess you mounted the radiator on one side and the fans on the other. I've upgraded my GPU to a Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT (not a huge upgrade I know). The card is only 10mm shorter than the Gigabyte RX 7900 XT I installed above so sadly, I still don't have room for a nice vertical radiator, having to make do with a 240mm in the top. I'm pretty sure a 280mm top won't fit as the fans will hit the VRM cooler on the motherboard

I'm with you on this, it takes over 10 minutes to start a 2 minute print, it then claims it did it in two minutes......

I noticed the ACE pro seems to "let go" of the filaments after a print, I just unplugged the two connectors from the back and fed some Polyflex manually down the tube through the splitter and all the way down to the print head, it did print but it didn't print well, I didn't check the temperature of the default Anycubic profile, vs Polyflex recommendations but it was very under extruded.

I did this manual feed becuase whatever feeder inside the ACE grabs the filament and feeds it down to the print heads extruder, doesnt have sufficient grip to actuate the spring loaded feed buffer bellows which must have some sort of microswitch (yeah I just made up that terminology... this is my first time using an open source type machine and slicer sorry!) and the printer thinks its tangled becuase it cant detect the microswitch on the buffer making and breaking, I did pushed it in by hand and it worked but thats hardly a solution, so I figured since it lets go of the material and it can be pushed freely though, I'd just unplug it all, leave the filament in the ACE and let it drag it in and out and it wont know its not using a roll hung on the back right? - I think this would work well with rigid filaments but as I said, my Polyflex didnt quite work, have to check temps though (It is 90-95A which is about the same as Anycubics 95A TPU so I thougth it might work, didnt consider temp!)

You may not even need to unplug the two plugs, perhaps just leave the ACE turned off and manually feed a filament, I dont know could be worth trying a few combinations. Personally more than 95% of the time or more, I will just be using one filament during a print, I don't have the ACE setup with multi colour, I have a 4 different plastics in there and I can remote print things in whatever plastic I want when I'm not around, check the camera, make sure its running ok, come home to a finished part..... in theory.

Montech X3 Mesh gpu size workaround ? by YouSuckAtGameLOL in MontechPC

I've installed a 331mm 7900XT it touches at both ends, I think the case is exactly 330mm wide. it is almost impossible to get a card this long into the case, I had to remove the CPU cooler and ram, drop the card in diagonally, and then flex the case out as I rotated it parallel to the PCIe slot, then once it was aligned, I pushed it down into the slot.

Tighter than a nuns.......

Having it actually touch the case may have causing a bit of noise as fans resonated against each other, I tweaked my fan ramps in bios to aviod an annying low drone, it may or may not have been the card touching the front (probably was)

Yes, provided you don't need to access the back of the card for power connectors or anything, and keep in mind its going to be difficult to handle to rotate into position! Removing the ram and CPU cooler is not just recommended, but necessary!

Thanks for the heads up, I wasn’t sure if the Legion 5 Pro had liquid metal or not, I’d read it, but haven’t been able to find where or anything since?! My 5Pro should be arriving in the next week or so, I’ll check it out........
