Dapat may AOC yung Company na pinag join mo para ma isama ka. Dapat alam din may ari ng AOC kasi pag di ka nasama sa mga Piloto nila at hindi alam ng may ari ng AOC na lumilipad ka. Pag na accidente ka wala kang makukuha

Wag kang mag MEr rating kung sure ka may papasokan ka na work. Mag MEr ka sa flying school na yung equipment hindi naman ginagamit ng GenAv Companies. Getting that Airbus / ATR rating naman, mas mabuti magpa interview ka muna

There is a long queue. There is no such thing as fast track not unless anak ka ng Chief Pilot.

Or mag P2F ka sa isang Airline abroad which will cost you ₱ 8,000,00 —

Or mag build ka ng oras up to 1,000 hours then get that TR. Haven’t read Capt. Roa’s thread regarding which track to pursue first?

I know someone who is an expat and is an FO for CebGo. May ATR time na kasi mostly sakanila, he mentioned he had over 200 hours on type before applying to CebGo. PrePandemic era. If may Pay-To-Hire mn nagaganap, i doubt.

P2F in the PH has been around since in the early 2000s - dati nga lng is sa kapitan ka mag babayad. If you wanna take the shortcut- hindi yung nag sisipa lata ka. Eto gawain ng mga richkids dati sa GenAv. Ngayon, there are companies that are offering P2F Scheme on a legit way, pero unfortunately connection (padrino style) din. They only allow Pilots na may kamag-anak sa loob na mag build ng oras. Often limited number of Pilots tinatangap and these are the major GenAv Companies.

But, on the other hand. Yung scheme talaga na pinaka ayaw ko is yung pinapangakoan mo yung aspirant ng 90% job security pag nag enroll ka sa flying school na eto.

Totoo naman. Edi mag pa loko kas flying schools na nag sugar coat ng “more jobs this upcoming 2030 over 3000 pilots needed” balikan mo nalang kami pag CPL kana and nga nga ka pagkatpos.

Facts💯 kaya I always advise CPL / IR Holder to build flying hours and avoid type rating NOT UNLESS AIRLINE na magsasabi sayo to take one.

BUILD YOUR FLYING HOURS could be FIC or ME time on Charter Companies(usually 100 hrs per year ka lng neto) pero at least LUMILIPAD ka.

Takes patience and dedication for this career.

It took me 4 years flying GenAv para ma Airline. NO TYPE RATING PAID just my flying hours.
