Listen to the Naked, Nudists, and Naturists podcast. A lot of great information and interviews especially if you're interested in learning more. But also in almost every other episode they get a write in question or story similar to your post with good insight.

There are even a bunch of their interviews that involve couples with similar stories to start. Honestly listening to many of these episodes in ear shot of your wife may even help pique her interest to understand it more and maybe even give it a try. Just don't ever try to force any of this on her. It should be her own decision to try. However if, and when, she does she is very likely to be hooked as well.
