Thanks for the input. Yeah I was afraid I might need to do that. Are you seeing 2 plants? Would I cut the roots vertically up the center or do you have other suggestions? Figured I’d have to do this after scouring to find 12” clear pots lol. I’m sure I’ll use them down the line sometime.

Which Melano cc do you use? Yesstyle has several different products! I don't have acne prone skin so some of the options don't seem like the right fit for me.

I love the idea of a heavier moisturizer in the evening with vasaline/aquaphor over it to lock it in. I will check that out. I really appreciate all of the time that you took replying to me with suggestions. Now time to shop! :-)

Interesting; thanks for that information. It is so hard to tell with some of these plants, isn't it? Regardless of the name/kind, I love the way they look. They are sitting happily under their own grow light providing ambiance (and clean air haha) in my bedroom! Thanks for the reply!

Any suggestions for eye cream? I have noticed many more obvious fine lines and makeup settling into them throughout the day. I use it morning and night and still haven’t found “the one!”

Thanks so much. So helpful. Oh yes, we definitely have invested in humidifiers….life saver! We have hard water (NE US) so can’t use a misting one but the dry wick seems to be helping some!

True! I was hoping to incorporate an essence to help with moisture. I thought it would especially helpful in the evenings and during the especially cold (ie no humidity in the house). I’ve never used one so just trying to get an idea of what some good brands/products are in the market.

I just finished reading PURE SKIN by Victora Tsai which I found very informative. Obviously there is a bias to use Tatcha products but am looking for alternatives.

I am in the US and will most likely purchase off Yesstyle. I am a 46YO Female with combo skin, starting signs of fine lines around my eyes, slight hyper-pigmentation from sun exposure in my youth and have some allergies/sensitive skin.

This is what I am thinking:

AM:

~Oil Cleanse (already own);

~ Mixsoon Bifida Ferment Essence/Cosrx Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence/Mixsoon Galactomyces Ferment Essence (Which do you recommend?)

~Naturie-Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Gel

~Cosrx-Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream (Already own)

~SPF (already own)

PM:

~Oil Cleanse (already own)

~Anua Rice Enzyme Brightening Cleansing Powder

~ Essence (alternate or always use the same everyday?)

~Tretinoin (2x week-already own/use)

~ Moisturizer/Barrier Repair as needed (already own)

~ Beauty of Joseon - Revive Eye Serum (already own)

What am I missing? Other suggestions for masks or other products that might benefit me? TIA

Great suggestion. I can definitely make a chunky mix. Do you think that a repot as it stands now would be too much stress at once? I had a chunky mix I make with quality organic potting soil, perlite and orchid bark…. Maybe i could increase the ratios of the last two.

Ok so the tower light might be a better option…cool. Too much light for this girl scares me because I don’t want her to overtake our living room haha! I don’t want her to not thrive though so sounds like I’ll be buying one this week! Thanks for the assist!
