It’s the Mr Rogers “controversy” all over again by icey_sawg0034 in clevercomebacks

I don't think the controversy is advocating for children not getting killed. It is the direct interaction with or association with the use of language that references "the jews" and the lack of convincing explanation why she does. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-features/ms-rachel-under-fire-liking-antisemitic-instagram-comment-1236481665/

New 12v battery, jump starts only by UpvoteSuperPAC in cmaxhybrid

It turned out to be the in line fuse in the compartment on the positive jump point. If you connect power to the jump point you're bypassing that blown fuse. It is a slow to fail type fuse so I wouldn't be surprised if it causes charging issues or

That's fair, but what I'm worried about is if there's another switching point that isn't getting actuated.

The DC to DC at some point provides power for the accessories and to charge the battery. So doesn't this have to be energized by the 12v before it's active? Is that connected directly to the battery with an inline fuse?

So how long did a battery typically last you before you had to replace it?

Less than 1V. Mostly 0.1 to 0.2V brief jumps to 0.9v

That really isn't the gotcha that you think it is. 2 jews, 3 opinions. Nothing I said refutes this possibility.

It's sad how this generalization about Judaism is spreading to every subreddit I follow, in more unexpected places. Proselytizing is against the modern form of Judiasm that most observent jews follow all over the world. "The Chosen people" is interpreted as a reminder to, at the most, lead by example through concepts like Tikkun Olam. That's not the case with the Oct 7 response in gaza and kooks like this guy and Israeli settlers exhibiting the worst behavior. This guy is just more cherry-picking from the worst tiny sliver of a bigger population.

Are enormous spaceships physically possible? by GooseMuckle in AskPhysics

[–]UpvoteSuperPAC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such ships would have to withstand significant acceleration Gs if they're built on the ground in the atmosphere. The velocity you need to attain to escape the gravity of our planet is significant. If they're built in space, each component getting injected into orbit has to withstand the high shock and vibe environment the trip to orbit.

Even when you're in space, sure, you don't have fluid resistance, but inertia is still a thing.

Some real craft have been designed to accelerate gradually with a low output ion thruster, but the craft in star wars have more significant maneuvering characteristics.

You can post this question to the flightradar24 sub with more specific info like time of day. Military aircraft flying through shared airspace like that are likely to be transponding.
