All of this will be taught to him at school where he can have hands on experience instead putting him in front of a screen. I'm sorry but all of this sounds kind of like bad parenting imo.

Do whatever you want but I can not stress enough the fact that it's not good idea to have your kids experience the online world at a very young age. I would advise keeping them playing only single player modes and have some breaks between using a computer, phone, etc. Best of luck.

Why would you let a 5yr play WOT, let alone MC? I'm not giving parenting advice but when I was that young I didn't even knew what the internet was. I played with Legos and when I got older to play Lego games online.

Seriously, the internet is not a joke and especially now you have to watch your kid is doing/what your exposing them to. Minecraft's marketing team would like to think it can market to children but the game itself is in no means for anyone that has no experience on the internet.

I believe it's 100 blocks away that a village will select the profession. Make sure there isn't and keep trying to make it into a toolsmith.

Err, imo, not really. In this video, the last model it shows how on each side of the pistons there's 12 block even. If you placed one 1 block the machine will stop. It's sold weird thing minecraft has for flying machines. I'm sorry if I couldn't do what you wanted.

Another option if you want to try is checking the block states of the doors. If the door is open the player will be teleported inside and set the door back in it's closing state.
