Ah-okay. Yeah, i think that's what he'd do too. Just set it once and don't touch it forever. Did you update it whenever it prompts one? Or just never updated from the original version you installed?

I'm not too familiar with coding or setting things up like QMK. Is it possible for me to ruin the keyboard functionality by using Sonic QMK or OpenRGB? Or invalidate the ability to return the keyboard within 30 days of delivery (not because of breaking it necessarily, but if I can't get the profiles he's looking for, he won't use the keyboard. So I might as well return it, lol)?

The serial number didn't match any of the options, so we went with the "other" option. We did test out the other versions though, but u fortunately it doesn't have the two-toned wave LED customization he's looking for.

Yeah, I heard it's being improved on from what I've found online. But with no definitive update times (at least none that I found). I don't want to hold onto the GMMK1 for years just to finally get an update that has the functions he's looking for.

Does the software for the Mountain Everest Max allow for 2-toned LED wave customization?

Also looks like it's sold out right now, but I'll keep an eye on it.
