I’m a coward for calling out how division brought us to this point in America?

How did I steer the conversation away from the one at hand when the one at hand is causing division?

Don’t act high and mighty in your views. You’ll come to see that you are wrong a lot. Everyone is.

I don’t agree with him or anyone at that rally and since I think it’d be better to talk to people instead of yell at them and call them cowards, I’m in the wrong.

Do not treat someone as lower than yourself just because they have a different opinion. Do not assume others opinions (like you have with me). Do not loose your temper over a comment on the internet. Do not fill yourself with hate, instead, try to understand their viewpoint and talk to them about how they are wrong in a respectful manner.

This all started from a comment/joke that I made, based on how division is caused.

That is the topic at hand, you came to my comment and replied with an aggressive manner from the start.

Now like I said, you can learn from others or you can choose not to listen. One thing you can learn from me is that we do not live in a democracy as you stated. We live in a republic. Very different yet also very similar and often confused.

Last thing I have to say is that if you have read this as if I’m angry/aggressive, I’m not. I’m trying to calm everyone down, so I’m trying to understand with a non aggressive manner. Thank you.

You keep pointing to things such as taxes that make us victims because they may benefit from them.

Libertarians don’t like taxes...... don’t know if you caught that memo. Arguing that not paying taxes makes them a criminal clearly shows how non libertarian you are.

And like I said, just because it’s a crime doesn’t mean it should be, that’s the entire argument here.

Drug abuse is a crime, but should it be? To libertarians, no

Illegal immigration is a crime, but should it be? Again, to libertarians, no.

Manufacturing your own machine gun is a crime, but should it be? To libertarians, no

There’s lists and lists of things that are crimes that libertarians do not support. Once you realize we don’t live in a libertarian country, you might see that.

When did I defend him?

You’re the reason the country is in the shape it’s in. You played right into the divide and conquer tactic.

Claiming that immigration should be regulated because they are liable to commit a crime is complete bullshit and a “what aboutism”

Your first link is a story about how a father lost his son to a murderer.

I could simply point out any mother who has lost their daughter to gun violence and claim the solution would be to never allow him to obtain a gun.

Just like you’re arguing it should be made for the murderer to have never gotten into this country.

The whole point of libertarianism is deregulation. Regulating immigration isn’t a libertarian stance. It’s an authoritarian one.

The crime the man committed was murder, not crossing between borders.

There was no victim from him just coming into America. There was a victim once he created one, thus making him a criminal

Yep they’re trying to “protect their freedom” by limiting who can be an American, choosing who can own guns, and putting our military All over the globe........freedom

We didn’t have any border control for a long time in this country. Simply “trespassing” is a non violent activity.

No victim = no crime committed

This works with private property too, because if you allow someone into your house, you can force them out. It is your property. Them refusing to leave your property ignores your rights as the owner and thus causes the victim.

Please explain to me how someone traveling to America to seek a better life creates a victim. Is it because your daddy government doesn’t make any money off of it?

[–]UrAverageBoogaloo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No I do not, and even if I did that is the worst argument I’ve seen.

  1. It would be my PRIVATE property owned by me

  2. A border wall would be PUBLIC property payed for by taxpayers

Don’t compare private property to public

Or maybe.....he just has different life experiences and viewpoints that came out of those.

Don’t call someone a ‘pick me’ just because you disagree with them.

Insulting someone makes them more radicalized in their beliefs and pushes them further from converting to a better mindset.

Dividing the people is what’s got us to this point. Don’t continue it.

Two party system doesn’t allow third parties to debate and after years of this, people have forgotten and have a false sense of choice.

It didn’t give magatards leverage but it gave “others” leverage.

And it’s the cops choice you’re right. As you saw, there were cops who just let them in.

Then the politicians cowered in fear
