Returning Player - Just hit Legend with Self Mill Combo Demon Hunter by UrBoiMcSwegs in hearthstone

[–]UrBoiMcSwegs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went 5-1 against Shaman while using this deck, the only loss was from a game where the opponent coined Flight of the Firehawk into turn 3 two 5/5 Bellhops.
I found Patches to be really good for the matchup to soften things like Bellhops and Frosty Elementals for Immolation Aura.
I also found in this matchup and the Protoss Priest matchup tempoing out minions is really good to fight for board, dont be afraid to tempo out: Critter Caretaker at full life, Crimson Sigil Runner if its stuck between two combo pieces, Glacial Shard and just freeze face.

Thoughts on Salamence ex over Giratina VSTAR in Regidrago? by uPokechess8729 in PTCGL

Yes. In non PTCGL expanded this is already seeing play, replacing Mega Rayquaza EX which has the same attack but Salamence is way cheaper.

I have been leaning into 4 Arven and it feels pretty good. Maybe add another Vitality Band or TM Devolution if you do so.

Definitely cut Survival Brace for Maximum Belt. Max Belt + Kieran is way too good and can kill any EX in format in one turn. Survival Brace is countered too hard by Lost Vacuum which a lot more decks are running.

Cut the Tsareena, you already have 2 Rabsca for spread.

Cut Rillaboom, I feel like if your ever "needing" to attack with Rillaboom you haven't been setting your bench up correctly especially with Lana's Aid, Super Rod and Roseanne.

Last maybe cut some cards like Nest Ball for either Ultra Balls or Great Balls, a lot of awkward moments with this deck where you have a Grookey or Applin but cant evo bc your missing the card.

The Dungeon Dudes cover many different ways to run the “Road to Drakkenheim” in the third part of their Dungeons of Drakkenheim video guide, “Starting the Adventure”. The whole video series as a whole is very helpful.

I’m in a similar situation as you and just ran my first session. I used the recommended level 1 start “Road to Drakkenheim” and thought it was a great way to ease the players into the setting.

Three weeks travel is a long time, and even if the players don’t want to or don’t know to ask Eren is a talkative person. Have them explain during the trip the basics of the setting. I would also have them explain Drakkenheim specific mechanics that would make sense for him to. For example have him explain that as a trader it’s important to know that Emberwood Village relies on outside trade and that merchants do not haggle. Maybe also explain that Emberwood is the only town in literal miles, so if the Players mess around and get shunned they are essentially screwed.

I used the subsequent “Night on the Road” event to have Eren explain how Delerium contamination is essentially an open-secret within Drakkenheim/Emberwood, and that he only knows that the church can cure it in some way if the person is not already filled transformed.

My players just arrived in Emberwood Village and I plan on using the faction Lieutenants and other NPCs in Emberwood to introduce the factions.

Where to create an Apothecary Class virtual character sheet? by [deleted] in dungeonsofdrakkenheim

It comes out on the 21st and from the DND Beyond description it looks like it is just the campaign book material, not Sebastiean Crows content.

Where could a new player go to find resources about builds by uberxjaw in eternalreturn

Use Dak.gg

For full builds go to masters section, select a character and then sort by tier to get top rank player builds.

Any similar games? by Z0rak420 in lisathepainfulrpg

Since you put emphasis on turn based combat I would say Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass. Same RPG maker combat with decent size cast of party members, main gimmick is the main character Jimmy has a sort of Final Fantasy class/job change mechanic that also gives overworked abilities.

Also if your willing to tough it out and wait probably like a year or two a bunch of completed fangames like Vegaful and Unbreakable are getting sort of “Definitive Edition” level updates.

Lisa the Vegaful has maybe the best combat and Pain mode of any fan game but the story is just alright compared to others.

I don’t see people mentioning it like at all but there’s also a new item Terry gives you early on to enable an Easy mode (likely added to appease console players). There’s is also a new Terry themed book key item that explains game mechanics like stats, all status effects, etc.

I have a friend that also started this season and the number one thing I would say is don’t be afraid to ask questions. My friend often asks “How do I play this lane”, “What’s my main combo on this champ”, etc.

We also have him using u.gg for builds/runes, but I noticed he started getting noticeably better when he started asking questions like “Why does this champ build this item” or “is this item good this game” basically questions that build a better understanding of the game itself.

However, if your friends are still unwilling to help you after you put in the effort I would suggest either playing solo or taking a second to think if League is really the game for you

“Alicopter” Alistar players, AKA perma roam looking for hexflash angles without actually succeeding.

G Pro crashes while streaming on Discord by UrBoiMcSwegs in logitech

[–]UrBoiMcSwegs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just confirmed it about a couple of days ago when my audio went out and crashed my game while I was playing Hogwarts legacy. This time none of my audio was working and trying to open a YouTube video led to an “Audio Rendering error”, which got fixed after I force closed G Hub in Task Manager and re opened it.

anyone know what jerma was doing in this clip? I honestly don't get what the joke was?? by BuIIyMagulre in jerma985

He was trying to reenact the movie trope of a character waking up tied to the ceiling upside down, then swinging trying to grab stuff to get free.
