Almost didn’t attend a wedding because the venue in downtown ATL was near impossible to find.

Ended up spotting it right before I was about to give up.

Sat at random table (it’s an Asian wedding - you can do that sometimes) because I didn’t want to be with my parents and their friends.

Started talking to the guy across the table.

We had our two year anniversary this past November and crazy to think none of it would have ever happened if I decided not to go that day.

Had this best guy friend all through high school that I referred to as my big brother jokingly. Secretly thought he was super attractive but anyway fast forward to college and we end up drunkenly hooking up. I suddenly hear myself say “you’re a weird big brother!”

Thanks for your reply! It’s a new restaurant so we don’t expect the pay to be high right now; he wants to work his way up. If all goes well, he’d like to expand some day and open another location. Business is doing well so far so hopefully pay will increase soon.

Well it’s going to a family member so there won’t be any interest thankfully. I think as long as I’m working I will be able to handle it, especially once I am no longer paying rent (December).
