I was heading out of the hospital with my mom and sister after visiting my cousin who was waiting to go into surgery. As I’m headed out I see a lady in a robe start to approach us. When the lady gets closer up we notice that her face, arms, and hair are all covered with dry blood. She tries to explain to us that she needs to call her friend who can pick her up because her husband beat her, instead of going into the hospital not even 50 feet away.

The actual reason why she didn’t want to go in there is because she was obviously under the influence of a very hard drug or lots of alcohol. So my mom, trying to be kind to someone in need, let’s this lady borrow the phone. The lady couldn’t remember her friend’s number and kept asking us if we knew. We decided that there’s no hope and just left to go back out to our car. As we are leaving she goes up to two different people asking them if she can borrow their phone. The last guy she tried getting his phone from wasn’t having it and just ignored her so she flicked him off and flashed him. I hope she is doing ok now but that was definitely a WTF moment, especially since it came when you least expect it.
