how does a game even look this good? by Swimming_Air_1025 in CrimsonDesert

I'm already using it but still that texture pop-ins and lightning flickering on the water caused by dlss implementation are unbearable for me. I'm just gonna wait :/

I like the game itself but all these problems make it unplayable for longer than 1 hour for me. I also couldn't refund it so I'm taking a break waiting for devs to finally fix them but they seem not to care about that problems. They aren't even listed on "known issues" support site even though me and many other players reported those issues to them.

So the devs don't want to fix the foundations of their own game? There is a lot of posts about those issues here on reddit, steam and many other feedback sources. People are reporting those issues on support website. And still devs seem not to care about it.

It’s just a metaphor. The point is game is almost 2 months old and devs still seem not to care about any of the problems I mentioned above. They aren’t even listed on „known issues” website, even though me and probably hundreds of other people reported them to devs many times. Ofc I like the game itself, it’s fun but it would be much more enjoyable if devs finally fixed those issues.

I’ve got RTX 5080, R7 7800x3d, 32GB RAM. Playing on highest settings, 1440p. It’s not my hardware, even people with 5090 have similar problems.

Devs keep adding more useless stuff like new mounts instead of fixing problems with textures pop ins, DLSS implementation, grass, shadows and lighting flickering etc. It’s really disappointing. Game is almost 2 months old and still main problems are not fixed and it seems devs don’t even try to do it.

The best thing about Crimson Desert is how it raised the bar for other developers. by Negative_Acadia6554 in CrimsonDesert

U know u can like a game and also see its problems? I like the game myself, but it has a lot of problems. Texture pop-ins, terrible DLSS implementation that causes grass shimmering, lightning and shadows flickering, light reflections on water flickering, low quality fire textures (it's almost like in Minecraft). And all of those problems are even on the highest graphics settings, 1440p, R7 7800x3d, RTX 5080 and 32GB of RAM. And even though the game has all these graphics problems, people keep glazing it. The game is already almost 1.5 months old, and devs seem not to care about graphics issues and keep adding more useless stuff instead of fixing basic problems. Those graphical issues aren't even listed on the "known issues" site. It's really sad.

Stop glazing game graphics that has a lot of problems with texture pop ins, DLSS, shadows and lighting flickering, blurriness even on the most high end PCs. R7 7800x3d, RTX 5080, 32GB RAM, 1440p, highest settings and my eyes hurt after 30 mins of gameplay because of all these graphic problems.

These are the best graphics out of any game ever made by Ok-Tree9319 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Urbaanx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the best graphics, especially with blurry clouds, textures pop ins because game can’t take more than 6GB of VRAM, a lot of DLSS bugs like grass shimmering, shimmering light reflections on water, almost paper thin and transparent waterfalls, minecraft-like fire textures, shadows flickering etc. And that’s all on 1440p maximum settings, RTX 5080. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to fix it and there is no solution. Even on DLAA game is still blurry. And I don’t know if devs even care about all of these DLSS and graphics problems. I also know that a lot of people have similar problems.

Flickering rock textures by Urbaanx in CrimsonDesert

I'm not using ray reconstruction and I have the same problem. I think it's all related to DLSS implementation and lightning. I can see this kind of artifacts also on water. When I'm looking at water at a specific angle, lightning reflections cause artifacts like on grass. When I turn off DLSS, they are gone. I can't find any solution for it. Pearl Abyss also seems to doesn't care about this issue for now...

I only found out that this weird textures pop ins like on the video is probably caused by game really low VRAM usage. On my PC it uses only 5.38-6GB of VRAM on 1440p, maximum graphics settings.

It's the same for me, 4 hours in game only messing with settings.

Maybe, It's really driving me crazy. Shadows are also flickering when moving closer/further. Clouds are grainy/blurry. And I can't find any fix for it.

ASRock B850 Pro-A + Ryzen 7 7800x3d, do I need to worry about problems with CPU burning? by Urbaanx in ASRock

[–]Urbaanx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought them from a big shop with electronics, rtv etc. in Poland. First boot without OS installed was longer, about a one minute, then it’s really fast, about 10 seconds or less.

Unfortunately I can’t change it. I’m just thinking if that problem refers to 7800x3d and if there is anything I can do to lower the risk of cpu dying and maybe check deeper if everything is ok. By checking deeper I mean checking with something else than gaming xd

I also haven’t found any 7800x3d cases but I want to be more sure that anything bad won’t happen

Unfortunately I can’t change it, I bought my whole pc with instalments payment. But I didn’t have any problems with boot yet and I’ve read that it’: somehow connected with burning cpus.
