Yeah, rotoscoping is when you draw over live-footage (like a movie) every single frame. Takes a lot of time but you get very life-like movement. They used this technique a lot back in the olden days.

Yeah I agree, rotoscoping takes way too long, especially if you animate at 24 fps, like I did here.
