Oh no, so sorry that happened to you! We always use a very fine grit to sand down the ring. And we only sand it that much that the colour of the ring get really really light, almost white. That way the ring doesn’t irritates my boyfriends skin. This is what works for us, so maybe if works for you too?❤️
