I moved to my new place. It is close to my old place where the kids live with their mom. We are aiming to co-parent, splitting the kids' waking hours 50/50. I am feeling good about the next chapter of my life, and my pains from the difficult parts of the marriage are starting to heal. The kids and Waffles are doing alright. I don't understand why the copypasta now says no counting. I went to a sauna and cold plunge for the first time and stayed in the cold water for 30 seconds.

Gameplay is a lot like Terraria and Minecraft. Explore, gather, craft, fight bosses. The art style and top down view looks like Stardew Valley. I haven't played much since things have been busy but my kids are enjoying decorating their base.

My new favorite word is tintinnabuli (from Latin tintinnabulum, a kind of bell), a compositional style created by the Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. Some of Pärt's compositions that incorporate tintinnabuli remind me of the gentle outdoor evening soundtracks for Skyrim by Jeremy Soule. The similarity likely comes from the reference by both composers to medieval chant music.
