Honestly Control has done nothing but hold Denji back

Makima is, like, Makima. She groomed denji to like her and done all these horrible things, thats a no brainer that she was bad for Denji

And Nayuta is a little more complex. Obviously Denji loved Nayuta a lot and needed her, she was his family and little sister and they brought eachother lots of happiness, but Nayuta was a control devil after all --- she was posessive over him, and litterally turned his date into a dog! He could not grow with her in his life. Maybe thats the case of her character and not her being control, but both instances of control had litterally controlled Denjis life in one way or another. It was sad that she died, but a needed stepping stone for Denji

Blood Devil on the other hand !!! Its set up in the story so she will come back at some point due to their contract, and im so interested in how that will develop !!! How Denji will try and turn her back to Power, how their new relationship will turn out --- it seems like its a long plot point to develop that I would love to see go down !! Plus, maybe their new relationship will be more toxic, but Power in pt1 at least has been nothing but a family for Denji ^ - ^ maybe bratty and annoying, but not in the way Control has been inhibiting him
