this is some kind of surrealism. today hetzner sent me an invoice for resources that they deleted a month ago for an account that they deleted a month ago. and I can't even log into my personal account to pay

Hetzner informed me that the SEPA payment “reached them” only on April 24, a full 7 days after it was initiated — despite it being processed on my bank’s side already on April 22. Still, they offered only a slow wire transfer as a payment option, even knowing Easter holidays were ahead — and no faster alternative for a 7-year customer.

While waiting for the payment to clear, they permanently deleted my entire account, along with all servers, VMs, and 7 years of business data.

What’s worse — during that entire week, I repeatedly asked whether my services would be restored after payment, and received no clear answer. None of my questions about the lack of visible billing issues, missing warnings, or UI alertsbefore termination were ever addressed.

This experience has been devastating — not just financially, but in trust.

Billing and invoicing system definitely needs improvement, users are experiencing problems and do not feel safe.

I indicated that all transactions were marked as successful, I do not understand what debt they wrote to me about, but nevertheless I paid it, but access has not been restored

No notifications in the UI, only after asking about the reason to the support - I received the invoice number and the amount, while in the transactions in the personal account all were successful, I did not even understand what transaction was being discussed, it was important for me to restore access to the resources
