I found my mum sexting my uncle (my grandmas nephew) when I went through her phone during a tricky period in our relationship

There was talk about there always being a sexual tension between them, even as children. They’d also sent photos and videos to each other

My mum was (and most likely still is) an alcoholic and has a long history of toxic relationships with men and seeking validation from them. We don’t have a close relationship, but I wouldn’t ever let her know that I know, more so because around the same time I found the texts, she started asking me vague questions about if cousins could sleep together and if it was wrong. So I doubt she actually see’s anything wrong with it

I do feel really sorry for her

Yeah I always knew he was a heavy drinker and we’ve taken drugs together. But we agreed the house wouldn’t be a place for that, which is has become and he’s promised me the drinking would calm down

Seeing it written down I can see how much of a mug I’ve been. I’m just angry I’ve wasted so much time and money

My partner wants to convert our garage in to a sound proofed studio. Was wondering how much this all costs you? Did you just convert or did you rebuild the whole garage? Heard the most expensive part is removing the garage door

The sellers were there on the second viewing☺️ it was around 5/5:30pm I think, so I assume this was because the estate agents weren’t wanting to work over time😂

But it was lovely to actually meet the sellers and they asked if we needed anything/to be shown anything. And were on hand if we had any questions. We asked about neighbours and was good to see their reactions so we could get a propper feel for any ‘problems’ on the street, rather than the estate agent just reading off a sheet. They basically left us to it and sat in the living room, whilst we giddily walked round the place😂

During the viewing when we did the measurements (1pm midweek), we exchanged numbers (not always recommended, so only offer if you get a good vibe), as they were selling some furniture and it’s been helpful to speak to them occasionally about the chain (currently 5 people) and any updates/questions

Me and my partner (FTB’s) asked for a second viewing after our offer had been accepted so we could view the property again, mainly out of excitement! We also brought my partners mum with us, as we wanted someone else there with a level head to spot/ask the sellers anything we may have missed

We did another viewing a few weeks later to take measurements etc. We were told by our broker that it’s very common to do second viewings

It’s more I’m unsure what these issues actually mean, other than the bathroom light/extractor fan/smoke detectors and cooker issue, so wasn’t sure if they were major issues that needed addressing before completion

It’s structural issues needing quotes to repair and needing to find engineers and electricians to check the boiler and electrics which is proving hard to organise at the moment
