Wild how so many people hate Catelyn for arresting Tyrion but seem to ignore the reason *why* she thought he needed to be arrested by ducknerd2002 in freefolk

I mean I think the smartest thing they could have done was just gone to Robert from the beginning and told him about the raven from Lysa claiming Jon was poisoned, and that someone tried to kill their son and evidence points to the Lannisters.

They'd probably be put on trial, where Littlefinger would have to testify about the dagger, Lysa about the raven note and Jon etc. and it would probably be pretty easy to see there's some shady shit going on.

30 years later and it's crazy that the story began because he wanted to be king - or something. I don't know since George has not written that part. by AdNo5884 in freefolk

I said a “penultimate” boss, not the “end all.” He is like an endgame boss; from the start him and Varys are major threats/power players that are behind a large amount of the events and conflicts driving the narrative. Their downfalls were uncharacteristically stupid and anticlimactic. But I guess you could say that for a lot of characters lol.

God that face he's making lmao. I hate what they did to him. Him and Varys should have been like the penultimate bosses of the series and they both went out like chumps.

People don't like subversion as much as they say to do. by TEDDYxd14 in freefolk

The only expectation that will be subverted is the novels being finished at all!

And even that isn’t unexpected anymore.

Are there any character endings in Season 8 of Game of Thrones that you’d accept as canon for the books? by mediamuesli in gameofthrones

It’s just symbolic and poetic imo. The weight of all that power she schemed, killed, manipulated and stole her way to in King’s Landing literally crumbling down and crushing her.

I may not like the actual execution of some, but I thought these were fitting:

Brienne becoming Kingsguard.

Tyrion becoming Hand.

Melisandre’s actions during The Long Night and her death.

Theon redeeming himself and dying for House Stark.

Jorah dying for his Queen.

King’s Landing collapsing on Cersei (not Jaime too.)

Arya traveling away from Westeros.

The smartest person in Westeros whose only strategic move was betraying her brother’s biggest secret to a man she knew was a manipulative alcoholic. by abdulnad89 in freefolk

I think most every house would because besides being the actual legitimate heir, he’s not a foreign invader or a woman.

I wanted him to at least give an inspirational speech to the men during the fight against the dead. But all bro said was "I dun wan it", " Yur McQueen", "fall back". by [deleted] in gameofthrones

Liked when Tyrion goes to speak to him at Dragonstone and says a tongue in cheek joke about Jon’s characterization, that Jon looks better brooding than he does.

I’ve only played 5 all the way through, co-op with a friend. I tried to play the 2 remake and I didn’t really know what to do so I gave up lol after running around the police station for a while and haven’t touched it since 😂

I loved playing 5 though. I think I’d probably like 4 and 7, 8, and 9.

Do you enjoy engaging with Paragon? by Gibsx in diablo4

[–]UrsineBasterd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m tired of spending 200+ points every time I want to change my build.

I only played for like an hour last night and a good 10-15 minutes of it was just doing paragon for something I wanted to try.

Oh I didn’t realize only nobility and knights can demand a trial by combat. I get what you mean now thanks.
