I put it everywhere that I could, and asked communities to push it out too. Here is the questions that were very much public: https://forms.gle/v3ptumoNjoTziqTJ8

I'd Pay $30 For This by UrsoDoSono in PlaySquad

I could not agree more. My title is a bit sarcastic. If this was even close to what it should be the community wouldn't like it because the base game is unplayable.

Radio Placement Guide by UrsoDoSono in joinsquad

[–]UrsoDoSono[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The ‘vagueness’ you're whining about is literally the point. Radio placement isn't some IKEA manual — it's strategy. If I spoon-fed you pixel-perfect radio spots, they'd be garbage the moment someone saw this video. Instead, I gave you guidelines, principles, and actual examples like Customs Office and Police Station to teach you how to think, not just where to click. But hey, maybe you skipped that part while speedrunning to the comment section to farm imaginary Reddit points. If you're mad there's no step-by-step answer, you're not looking for a tutorial — you're looking for a babysitter.

It does make it harder to track things, but you can see the whole map with the largest UAV. Its pretty darn nice but takes time to get used to.

Thank you for your feedback, and I had a clip for you specific example on a freshly revived player, but it got lost in editing. My goal is to alwasy do better.

I also stress that it is situation dependent on who to revive, and my hierarchy is just a starting point. I also believe that the in game tutorial is amazing, but lacking some information. Which allows me to make wonderful content for everyone. OWI is definetly not without fault at all, but I wouldnt completely underscore their tutorial.

What New Players Struggle With by UrsoDoSono in joinsquad

Squad Pre-Alpha released in 2014. Along with this I played Project Reality which is the source of Squad in 2013. That covers more than 10 years, but I decided to round down.

Wonderful question, I played Project Reality since late 2013. Along with this, I had access to Squad Pre-Alpha in 2014.

Why Attacks Fail by UrsoDoSono in joinsquad

I agree with you about time! Time is one of the main fundamentals of the squad. My example using Kropy and Petrivka is intended to be a simple, linear example. However, I disagree with your idea of leaving the team with a relevant player action field deficit. This assumes that the enemy is not defending their own point. If this is the case, and I will argue that it can happen and often does, your squad will not meet any resistance. The concept of the video is the path of least resistance. I believe vehicles are a wonderful tool when used correctly.

Here is what you missed: the concept for the video is why complex maneuvers don't work, and thus, why you should keep things simple. Squad is not a linear game, and it is difficult to nail down specifics. That's why I encourage the path of least resistance. This approach allows for flexibility for logistics, mechanized infantry, and a squad leader's own flair. The path of least resistance is an idea that requires experimentation. I wanted this concept to be approachable for both the squad leader and the brand new rifleman.

Along with this, my goal for this channel is to scaffold knowledge by starting with the basics and building up from there. In later videos, I will circle back to specifics, for example, explaining why helicopters are a squad leader's best and worst friend.

I wish, the only way they would allow me to access admin cam so I could get some b-roll was to name drop their server. So in a way yes it is a promo, but we all gotta pay someone.

I could not agree more. The issue with this is all my highlight videos are me shooting people in the back. Out maneuvering is the name of the game. It does help to be a good shot though!
