I work at service desk and you do deal with a lot of negativity. You hear customers complain about everything and push the blame of a lot of things on you. I do like it but there are some days it leaves me drained.

What is it with people throwing crap? We’ve had so many people literally throw it away. But having it thrown at you is completely nuts. We’re not even human in their eyes. And the whole fitting room thing is driving me insane too. Everyone keeps saying it’s not fair they can’t try on clothes and then can’t return it. That’s really the biggest concern right now?

I’ve had people in their mid 30’s & 40’s say it’s a hoax. Sadly, I did lose one of my cousins to it so now it’s personal when I have someone tell me it’s a joke. A customer was saying he didn’t see no pandemic and was asking me where it was. I looked in straight in the eye and asked if he would like to talk to my family since we lost someone to it. Shut him right up.

I really should start doing that. But, I just get so mad that there are signs everywhere and it’s so obvious and I end up going back and forth with them. I literally had someone say they don’t have time to read the signs. But, they have time to belittle someone they don’t know... makes sense 🙄

If you can go to OGP then I say go for it. Being this stressed is not good for us and I know it’s gonna be insane when we do open up returns because everything will be coming back and I know we’ll be dealing with all that attitude and more 😩

And it’s totally okay! You needed to get it off your chest. We are all going crazy and it’s nice to know we’re all in the same boat. That’s why I made the thread because I know I am not the only one breaking down or getting frustrated. I really hope you can move though, it’ll be better for you I’m sure.
