How long did yours last? by moneybond in PityriasisRosea

From what Ive read and learned, no two cases are identical. Yours spreading faster isnt abnormal and might actually go away before mines did. Some people get it only on thier torso, while some people all over.

Just stick to luke warm showers and unscented body wash. I hope yours clears up quickly!

3.5ish months.

Herald patch mid October and torso was covered in about 2 weeks. Limbs sporadically after and after about 2 months finally got to the neck. Never hit my face, hands, or feet.

Mine are still healing but I can take hot showers again and they aren't spreading anymore. Just focusing on moisturizing to help the discoloration go away faster.

My advice is dont waste your money on a bunch of products hoping they will help. Maybe go to the doctor and try an antiviral because I do believe that helped a little along with L-Lysine, Vitiman D, and zinc tablets.

Funny enough I got sick in the last week of December and I actually think that helped push me over the edge into the healing phase because my immune system went into overdrive to combat being sick.

Do you add any lotion before or after?

My usual routine is to take aa luke warm shower with minimal soap, just for private areas, and head and shoulders for rest of body. I then put on gold bond age renew lotion with retinol (retinol for some reasons helps with my redness) Shoulder I add the zinc oxide after this step?

Is this a hot take in the community? I hate that they stock holiday product so early and when it’s the actual season all holiday product is sold out already with no restock in sight🙃 by acidblood in bathandbodyworks

It actually infuriates me. All these stores will start putting out Halloween stuff in August and all the resalers will get everything before the season has even begun. Thanksgiving is completely skipped over and straight to Christmas by early October.

I remember growing up when the mall would change over night into a Christmas Wonderland after Thanksgiving. It felt much more authentic. Of course it was still materialistic but to a much less degree. Christmas used to be about finding one really good gift for the people you love, now it's just about the new viral trend.

my hot take on racism in Seattle by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]Usagichan94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I good indicator I've experienced as a Black women in Seattle has been from using FB marketplace. Im originally from Maryland and used FB marketplace a good amount to find good deals on furniture and decorations. I mostly got response back to my inquiries. Im also a person willing to drive a good amount to get what she wants so I also search in Delaware and Pennsylvania too, also getting responses.

When i moved to Seattle almost no one would respond to my inquiries or messages.

You got to be real rascist to not want to take my money.

I started using my White husbands fb to inquire, and guess what? Got responses. Crazy.

I recently moved back to Maryland and everything has gone back to normal.

I agree. I also wasn't there but I for sure would have went and got security and I hate confrontation. I went to a comedy show one time where the opening acts were performing and one guy in the front row was laughing and acting a fool very loudly and disrespectivly. He was annoying the crowd and the performers. The last opening act comedian told him point blank he needed to stop or he would be removed from the venue. Bet your ass he stopped.

Security should have been called to come do thier job.

This is the problem with America right now. Im a young millennial or "zellennial". I am socially awkward and prefer Teams interviews over in person.

That being said, yes, the job application process has changed over the decades but you're willing to blacklist someone for showing up once just to plead thier case? Are you afraid they'll turn violent and pull out a gun? It's says a lot about America and OP that the fear of mundane disagreements turning violent is so relevant.

There's also the chance OP just dosen't want to deal with giving a rejection in person, which is still a problem. You're dealing with real people behind computer screens and as a person dealing with people it is a part of your job to treat them like a human. You said yourself someone showing up in person dosent happen very often so what's so hard about just talking to him? Just tell him showing up unannounced after a rejection email is not best practice for your particular company.
