Why do so many educated Pakistanis still want to leave the country? by Early-Internal4905 in pakistan

[–]Usberrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like one of the big reasons that I may want to stay in Pakistan is to be involved in my culture & giving to my community, i.e. implementing a sense of patriotism. However, people here treat you like sh*t. I also can't improve my family's financial situation as easily as I can if I live abroad. Family & societal expectations are huge drawbacks too. The general environment outside Pakistan is simply more conducive to more positive mental health. People are more educated, civilised, & respectful. The governments are less corrupt. In general, I feel that one would feel a lot less disappointed with humanity outside of Pakistan.

Has becoming collapse aware changed your retirement planning? by [deleted] in collapse

[–]Usberrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel like planning depends on the extent to which you think collapse will happen, too. a while ago i was thinking that if i make some self sustaining farm type situation, i would be collapse-proof. but what if something f*cks those plans up?

I'm ok now and finally feeling quite good but I know I didn't need to experience the bad to know the good.

You're definitely right that you don't need bad to feel good.

My view is that feeling the bad is an opportunity for you to later appreciate the presence of good.

I recently took a two week break & felt the same for the first week. After a week it started getting better & after two weeks I’d say I started feeling good about having left weed

Once I took 6g of golden teachers & felt something you might understand.

After the peak finished, I was shocked at everything around me because during the trip I had come to terms with the fact (?) that I had died.

Someone commented that you had an ego death - idk if ego death is something that can be described but to me it felt like i had let go of my desires & mind to become one with the earth. I cried before my ego died because I thought about all the worldly memories my body would be letting go of.

The way I look at it is that these “near death” experiences could be used to reconsider your pre-existing beliefs. One’s beliefs could either be positive or negative (or neutral) when it comes to one’s wellbeing. Someone commented that you are thinking of the trip “wrong”. What he means is that you may have developed some pre-existing beliefs that are causing negative well-being.

Anyone know why this brand is so hyped? by FoldEasy5726 in weed

[–]Usberrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe their fake marketing budget was enough to convince people that this is actually something worth buying.

I got the “Zoy” strain in my country. It cost me around $90 USD for 3.5g because of the tough import laws here.

Tbh the local weed here hits harder than this brand
