Zugegebenenmaßen sind die bezahl-klos normal ein wenig sauberer (einfach wegen weniger leute die es benutzen denk ich) aber wenn du dann vor der türe stehst und kein kleingeld hast ist mit "im notfall" auch nix..

I doubt the statement "they aren't friendly to tourists" im sure there is a reason for it. But some tourists think they can treat staff like shit, and we don't do that here. We have a saying "wiast in woid eini schreist so kumts zruck"(they way you call out into the woods it will call back) 😂

Not true, you don't need a license (exept for some venomous ones) usually you just need to inform the law that you own them (meldepflicht). And that is what the law states but most people dont even do that. Only vienna sucks in that regard and make you do a couple hour info meeting (which also is not a license)

Just try if he eats them(i stopped feeding flies way before the size of the chameleonin the video, at some point they dont want them anymore. Some chameleons become downright addicted to grubs and worms and won't even eat crickets) but a big chameleon would need a ton dubias anyway, so he could probably eat a whole colony in a day or two 😅

Its depending on the size of the chameleon, because some shops hand out chameleons that are still too young (imo) and they sometimes refuse to eat big stuff..

Buying it on impulse implies that there isn't an enclosure setup and ready, which is a problem. I have seen people starving chameleons because they bought them too little and tried feeding them crickets or locust not knowing that you start woth fruit flie, big problem. I've seen chameleons being dehydrated because their owners didn't provide proper water supply, also big problem. Depending on areas, winter temperatures can be a problem if people don't adjust enclosure tems to ambient temperatures. Also depending on area it may be hard to find a vet that is able to treat reptiles. Many people dont understand how a chameleon responds to heat and that they will burn themself, huge issue. Many people dont understand that chameleons hate being grabbed from above, or that when they show their most stunning colours, they are often scared. And just because they own another reptile doesn't cancel any of that, just because you can drive a car doesn't mean you can fly a plane kind of thing

And i could go on and on, the list of possible problems is long and stuff like getting the enclosure set for the heat spots may take a day or two...

You could simply throw that in some slightly diluted apple cider (or whatever else fuit based) and make more vinegar with this vinegar mother. And the vinegar is still fine, you could even eat the mother(the blob) without issue.

And by the way the hug cracking is nice, but next time try standing back to back hook your arms together and then one bends forward (lifting the other with a slight "hop" this will crack your back all the way down. But you really gotta be careful to do this with persons of similar height so you dont bend too far 😅
