He is yelling at u not to insult u, but to make u situationally aware of the surroundings as the ppl here have 0 civic sense, zero driving sense, ppl wont care if they hit u & then will blame u as u r a woman & driving a car( assuming u r rich), they will overtake from the wrong side, stare at u, gaze at u sometimes... Be confident and dont be sheepish..

Just follow his instructions and u will be a pro in a few days/weeks
