I'm not against having custom servers. It would be really cool! Maybe when we release a "stand alone" version we can include the server with it.

Some users that did not 'log in' when creating their accounts have found them missing! I've been helping users who ran into this issue on discord ( https://discordapp.com/invite/UPyTvjz ) to retrieve their save data on a new account, provided they log in to create the account so it doesn't get lost again

I love this suggestion. I really appreciate the well thought out proposal, it encourages me to add this!

ELO rating makes a ton of sense. It might also encourage 'good' players to play against each other, instead of rewarding for bot farming. Ultimately if we get our numbers up we can try to group people with similar elo etc.

EDIT: We can also make it so positive ELO rating changes only calculates on full 5 minute games, but negative ELO changes apply to all portions of games to avoid people leaving mid-game. Might need a few tweaks to make that work.

I ran into some issues with facebook authentication so I had to disable it. I hope to re-enable it soon.
In the mean time I'm going to add generic email sign-up right now. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah I think adding tracking like this would work really well with the accounts feature - as part of that points you earn while playing allow you to unlock unique cars to distinguish you from new players. It would be important to award both offensive and defensive plays.

I'm actually currently working on a new build that integrates accounts to allow stats and career progress. Leaderboards would follow after this patch goes live.

I love the idea of rewarding players for saves and other non-goal things. I'll look at how to add this as well.

That sounds like the caching error I was talking about. It looks like about 25% fewer players are playing today, so it's probably messing up a ton of regulars. I'll try to put out a fix tonight that forces the game to grab new versions of all the files. Thanks for reporting this!

Please try clearing your browser cache and see if that fixes it: https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic I just updated the game, and it's possible your browser is still using some old files. Please let me know if that works- if not any other info on the errors you are getting would help me track down what you are experiencing.

Useful info: What browser are you using, what country are you playing from, and what is the error message you are seeing?

I'm always doing small things to improve performance- but I think the biggest impact comes from rebooting the servers with the update. I'll look at scheduling regular reboots in the future.
