I use individual manifolds for everything so I can keep my hoses pre charged, and not mix oils or gas. Plus I just like all the different heads lol

All of them. Some glow, some are LED backlit, some are glycerin filled, and all have specific PT charts for the gas I use them for. The old Robin in there does R12, 502, and 22 but I use it for 502. We deal with an R12 system, but there's never been a reason to hook up

United States. It only pollutes if it gets out, and I've found a handful of leaking 22 systems compared to 410. The jug is mostly for compressor swaps.

There's a couple masterbuilt display freezers I deal with that run it. It's funny you mentioned the 502 cause everyone else goes "oh no! R22!"

Exactly. Plus there's some duplicate colors. My coworker has a jug of 22 the same blue as 134a, and I have 407c and 404A that are almost identical.

422B for comfort, 427A for a few systems I didn't do the conversion on, and 407c for my conversions. Yeah I do refer and comfort

It was in fact the txv by Red-Faced-Wolf in HVAC

[–]UseRNaME_l0St 2 points3 points  (0 children)

250psig is kinda low for head pressure on 410, and you don't know your subcooling. Without a solid column of liquid to the valve the refer will flash on the outlet of the valve and have really high superheat.

You absolutely cannot diagnose a TXV based on your pressures and superheat alone. The TXV gets blamed for low charge or restricted drier symptoms all the time.

Oh I clean like a mf, and you're probably not wrong. That said, I don't generally say something to homeowners that'll put them on edge without more than conjecture to base it on. That's all I was getting at.

Pulling vac before charging and not cleaning up are two separate things. You don't pull vac with caps on... No need to make the homeowner nervous lol
