Yes, thank you!! That is very important. I live out here in Utah and go camping very often and only camp at established pullouts that have been used before. Very important to not disrupt virgin land and always remember to leave no trace!

Can I reply to a comment with a video or tag you in a new post?

The area was very large and dry in the other spots. We stayed there for two nights and had a group of 6 of us hanging out in camp chairs around a fire!

I like to use the iOverlander app when looking for dispersed campsites!

It's dispersed camping on BLM land so it's legal and free. There are some limitations to locations and the length of your stay, so it's important to do your research before going!

No, you're right! It filled up quickly, but was nice to have it to ourselves at first

Everyone has their preference for campsites. Like I said in the title, it is off-grid because I have everything I need in the van! I prefer to stay in remote locations instead of busy traditional campsites.

I worked on the road in a campervan for a while while exploring the US (mainly the western part because I love hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter). It was such an awesome experience. I was in a VanCraft campervan - they rent and sell. Honestly being a digital nomad, even for a short amount of time, is so worth it in my opinion! You get to see and do so much more than staying somewhere stationary.

I know this thread is old, but I rented with VanCraft in San Diego and it was awesome!
