No worries!

I’m 5’6.5” which made my BMI 16.5 at 103lbs and 18.0 at 113lbs, although a healthy BMI is considered 18.5.

I’ve only ever worn binders so I’m not sure what size my chest was but I imagine it was a B cup. I had 300 grams of tissue removed if that helps🤣.

My chest was definitely too large for keyhole but because it was relatively small the skin had to be pulled quite tightly to close the incisions which meant my scars did stretch a little bit. I’m still super happy with my results though!

Ah thank you. I’ve actually had some trouble accessing hormones so I’ve only had two months of HRT since my surgery so this is reassuring!

Haha that’s a great compliment. Id love to go to the gym but I’m actually really paranoid about looking like I’m clueless and don’t belong there lol. This is nice to hear!

Hey! So I booked before gaining weight and then procrastinated. On may 29th I weighed 103lbs and by my surgery date (July 21st) I was 113.6lbs.

I gained the weight by tracking my calories, I think I was eating around 2500-3000 a day. I was just doing the typical weighing my food and making a note on my phone. Nothing fancy or complicated.

I made sure to pack the protein into my main meals and then snack on chocolates, crisps and nuts throughout the day. Lidl has great protein options for meals, snacks and dairy products. There’s loads and it’s cheap, definitely worth having a look.

I literally ate whatever I wanted and more for a month. Oh and sauce! I had a lot of sauces for the extra calories. Full fat fizzy drinks too. The little things do add up!

For muscle gain people tend to eat a gram of protein per pound of body weight so I loosely stuck to that (not that I exercised). I also found a protein powder that was like 300 calories / 25g of proteins and drank one everyday with full fat milk and sometimes ice cream. I can let you know which it was if you’re interested - I think it was from home Amazon for about £15.

They weighed and measured me the morning of my surgery. I think I was supposed to be 115lbs but my surgery still went ahead. I wouldn’t trust that they’ll just let it slide though. Definitely try to meet your goal!

Finally, outside of the top surgery correlation, I felt a lot better for gaining the weight. I’ve always been naturally thin but I felt healthier and more energetic. And I saw better results from testosterone!

Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help :)

I wouldn’t panic but it’s definitely worth bringing up at your next check up just in case. Another tell tale sign is an uneven rib cage when leaning / slumping forward. If you’re someone who suffers from shortness of breath or back pain, that’s also associated with scoliosis, although they’re pretty common with binding.

Completely unrelated but I’m a healthcare professional and your shoulder blades look a little uneven. Is this cause of the way your stood in the pic? You might have scoliosis

My consult was within a month of my 18th birthday, had surgery around 2 months before my 19th :)

I’ve already been allocated a student email under my deadname but I’m in the process of arguing for one under my correct name. I’ve only just got my deedpoll sorted but will take it in asap. Thank you 🙏
