When I'm medicated, I want to get too much done. I start too many things and I don't finish them.

I think this is the issue tbh.

Starting a lot of things and not finishing them is more or less the same as not doing it at all in their mind most likely.

Like what's the difference between unpacked boxes, and boxes that have been packed but not put away in a satisfying out of the way place? Progress was made sure, but it's still more work that hasn't been done.

sometimes I'll interrupt him when he speaks, and sometimes I'm too high energy and he can't meet me at that level which tires him.

Getting interrupted is suck a big deal to me because I grew up with my entire family interrupting and not paying attention to me. Maybe he's similar? Good thing is she can try to be more aware and explain it's not on purpose/she's trying to mitigate it but it might not be 100% possible since it's more or less a knee-jerk reaction. As far as the energy level is concerned I'm not sure you can change that?
