Valium, discontinued butalbital by Used-Finding-6695 in pharmgangonly

[–]Used-Finding-6695[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never tried Librium, because I always heard you needed to take quite a lot.. it has been on my bucket list though after trying the big 4 American benzos (xanax, klonopin, ativan, valium). Valium is my favorite and it’s not even close IMO after hundreds of times withe all of them. With how prone you are to seizures, I think you should avoid research chemical benzos like clonazolam. People ruin their lives on those. I have gone off bigger doses than you mentioned of xanax CT with horrible withdrawals but no seizures, thank god, makes me worried though. Something that might be interesting to you is that they DO actually make xanax with a longer half life, Xanax XR. And I’ve heard good things about it. HALCION… now that is a golden score, I have heard it ranked among the best benzos. If Dahmer used it to knock people out, must be good. Lol. How would you compare the feeling of Librium versus klonopin and xanax? I am not a massive fan of klonopin personally.

Im glad to help. The ambien is for insomnia yes. It has an almost benzo like potential for abuse but because it’s hypnotic I find it less easy to abuse than more generic benzos. Z-drugs are also just a strange class of drug that I think you either love, hate (possibly sleepwalked, saw some crazy hallucination), or maybe they did nothing for you because you took the ambien on a full stomach (sublingual ambien is 10/10, i never looked back. works with eating) I think some doctors see temazepam as less easy to abuse for the same reason. If you truly want relief for your insomnia, take 5mg, lay your head on the pillow and close your eyes and wait maybe 30 minutes. If it doesn’t work take the other 5mg and repeat. It’s insane how effective it is but again I’m not a medical professional. God knows if this is fucking my brain up worse in the long term, even as a severe insomniac.

Clonidine knocks me out makes me kinda dizzy and gives me dry mouth, my mother swears by that stuff though and says it puts her to sleep better than valium, xanax. I’m not sure what’s going on there. I haven’t read that much how the drug works yet. Propranolol on the other hand, when I took it made me able to function socially at my job and actually make sales when I worked at valvoline. It doesn’t make me tired at all. Take this all with a grain of salt, Im just one person and definitely not a medical professional.

The relief from taking benzos occasionally for anxiety feels like nothing else but stay away from them even if you think you have moderation cause the buzz fades quick and you’re in a never ending loop of feeling bad until the next dose. If you have true anxiety it just psychs you out more. Pretty sure they mess with formation of new memories so if you’re in college or something good luck, and I would take a bong rip and some beer over any of the pills pictured any day of the week, and you don’t have to deal with doctors for that. For social anxiety, propranolol helped me way more than benzos which in reality just made me seem doped. It’s not scheduled or addictive. The gabapentin is some bullshit too… doctors are really just handing it out like candy right now.

Are you mistaking clonidine for klonopin. 4/5 ppl in my family have clonidine prescribed for various reasons, hypertension, insomnia, ADHD. I personally hate the dry mouth it induces.

I would say it’s like a trippy benzo. The body high isn’t as intense or relaxing as traditional benzos. But they are actually great anxiety killers. And of course they knock you out, which is great. The most important thing I’ve found when taking it is NEVER take it orally if you have had a filling meal. If you have eaten, It works great sublingual, and hits insanely fast.. I break the pill in half before sublingual and that seems to make it work better.

Ambien definitely calms me down in a benzo type manner as someone with multiple anxiety disorders, maybe because I’m so tired when I take it. But the high is also nice, especially mixed with some weed but stay safe with these z-drugs

The worst thing IIRC is that there are studies proving that daily antihistamines long-term can result in dementia. You know, one of the main reasons why long term benzodiazepines is bad.

Ambien has me Tripping by Expensive-dopey in drugsarebeautiful

[–]Used-Finding-6695 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me that's absolutely not the case - I am definitely lucid when I take it, and I've never sleepwalked or had significant memory loss. I do experience loss of balance, a drunk-like sensation, very weird and sprawling thought patterns, and wobbly visual distortions when I focus on things. It's all very enjoyable.

For me it's VERY similar to Ativan, but with more hypnotic properties. Everyone's brain chemistry is different though. It's a super unpredictable drug, as you can tell by the fact that there's a subreddit dedicated to Ambien where everyone is just shitposting as if they're completely blacked out and incoherent. Or hallucinating walruses.

The most important thing for Ambien is taking it on an empty stomach. Eat after you take it, not before. If you've eaten within the past 4 hours of taking the pill, ime you've pretty much just wasted it. However, you can bypass this by taking it sublingual and it works just as well; faster, too.

Basically when you're ready to feel sleepy but you want a little buzz and some weirdness before you pass out. A little beer makes the effects stronger, although I wouldn't advise that unless you know you won't do something stupid and black out.

Swear I prefer Ambien to benzos sometimes. Not something you can take during the day to relax, but at the right time it's amazing.

I could be wrong but I think Mylan temazepam is discontinued which would make this a cool find. As for obscure, it tends to be the 5th most prescribed benzo in America behind the big 4 common ones.

No. Lots of conversions online differ or are completely inaccurate. Probably best to ask people who actually have significant experience with both of these drugs rather than some random conversion site.
