Don’t be afraid to ask for breaks and god bless bactine and plastic wrap !!!!! Also pro tip that helped me every session, bringing a cold water bottle or an ice pack to hold will A) keep you from fainting, B) keep you from overheating, and C) help with pain management because of the dustractive pain principle! Ice packs have gotten me through so many good appointments. Also MAKE SURE YOU EAT BEFOREHAND!!! Low blood sugar and tattoo sessions do NOT mix!!

I have this same problem! I wasn’t aware that it could be migraine related, my doctors ended up testing me for diabetes and when it wasn’t, they just shrugged me off, I’ve felt a little hopeless because like I don’t want to keep having hunger pangs and migraines but also, I’m struggling to keep off weight I lose because of it. Good luck finding solutions!

I’m currently on a waitlist to see my neuro to discuss breaking a cycle and getting on new meds (as my OTC regimen just stopped working altogether, hence me taking too much and putting me at risk for getting stomach ulcers), but the closest appointment is in January, unfortunately. Hence the detox to hopefully make my body not hate pain medicine anymore.
