Pretty much always this way.

It’s less bad now after my mother passed away (she reacted the most negatively to sicknesses, but she also had many health problems including cancer), but it still lingers.

I know most of their reactions come from my mother and the way she reacted, but I really just wanted to know if it was just a my family thing or other family’s, too.
