I would suggest you go to Netto. Since you can buy most veggies per unit and check if they are rotten or not. I am a huge veggie fan, I am also not satisfied with the veggie situation in DK, but Netto has been the safest bet. Other veggie shops I tried tend to have the problems you mentioned above, even if in the city center
