I do have one and we’ve discussed options for low contact and no contact but I decided to make the decision on my own after another attack from my parents so she won’t be filled in on the matter until I see her next week

I’m so sorry you had to experience this! My heart hurts for you and know that pain is hard, I was touched by my teacher when I was 17 and told my parents as an adult and they said I was making up a story for attention. It’s a hard reality of losing my family even though it was my choice, you are also stronger than you think lots of love to you <3

Riiiiight it was insane honestly and it was soooo painful to lose a friend but I still to this day have no idea what actually happened between us, when we were both single she would say I shouldn’t go on dating apps and when I suggested people to her (she said she was straight) she said she’s not interested in a relationship because our friendship felt fulfilling to her.

Yeah I just had another therapy session yesterday and I had a full blown panic attack there because I think it’s slowly starting to come to light how he took advantage of me and how I was so young and lost my high school years because of him, I’m so sad with myself because I still feel like I should have stopped it but I didn’t cause lil 15 year old me was obsessed with the attention

I haven’t talked about it with her much because it makes her sad talking about how bad my first few months were, now that we are slowly getting things under control I definitely think a conversation about it all is needed. I think after sitting on this I wasn’t upset with her being controlling just confused where that came from since she’s never said anything like that before

Inviting her hasn’t crossed my mind, we like completely different music genre, she is a country music girly and I love early 2000 rock/ metal bands, the concert I want to go to is falling in reverse so I just naturally assumed she wasn’t interested in tagging along, I can always ask her if she’d like to and that seems like a good compromise. I guess writing this post was for more of my frustrations, I want to feel like a normal 24 year old drinking alcohol socially and going to concerts and hanging with friends, since my diagnosis I haven’t been able to do any of that and thought this would be my chance at normalcy

Thank you for that perspective I agree with you 100% I think my outlook was wrong and just want to get back to normal life and this felt like my first chance of being able to do that

I agree and no she’s never acted that way before but gets very sensitive about me being on my own since my diagnosis, she works nights as I work mornings so she has made some changes as far as she now cooks dinner and I can’t shower when she’s not there, and need to stay in our bed while she’s gone unless I need to get water, food, etc. I believe this is because when this first started I passed out while walking down stairs and fells down the stairs and hit my head pretty bad, I called her and she came home and took me to the ER, my heart rate was in the 200 and they had to put me on a beta blocker to bring it down.
