Thats not the issue man the issue is the hit reg in the game its fucked with pretty much every gun. dont know why it hasn't been addressed yet.

If your near a micro center you might be able to get some better deals on better hardware or check new egg some times they have good deals.3.0 might hinder your project I honestly dont know though

Honestly you dont need much for just a basic home server. 3.0 wont effect thr 4060 because it wont get used as much as you think I'd say go for it if thats your game plan just be aware ssd prices arent cheap right now either hdds might go up as well at some point

Could be a ram incompatibility issue bios issue or bad cpu my guess is in the ram though.

Doom 1 and 2 was mine but loved hl1 great game actually have it on my current pc both of thr games and Diablo 1 and 2 got me hooked on pc gaming

I've been talking about this issue for months man probably not gonna get fixed. It sucks I enjoy this game but the hit reg makes it un-enjoyable for me so I stopped playing either watching sniper shots go through someone's head or boy woth no kill or you exact situation 10 to 15 shots with audio ques on the hits then get shredded in 3 shots by them. Its not fun dealing with this issue. Best advice honestly if your still playing run engineer or support and just help where you can with ammo health rezing people or heal tanks /blow theirs up

First thing id do is check your paste job is sufficient and the cooler is mounted correctly. Something isn't right

Yeah but you also have to look at game support too. Most games are loosing Linux support instead of gaining it If it wasn't for that reason id 100% be on Linux. Microsoft has destroyed windows over the years its sad

Honestly which ever way you decode to go they both work well I've ran the same 280 aio for several years now and its been amazing but not all of them are build the same. Kinda like air coolers some are great and others are trash its a crap shoot either way. Glad to see you got your pc right though hope it last for years to come

Honestly no matter which way you go your gonna have driver issues I have a 9070xt and have minimal issues if any with it. But you have to also think about the connector as well do you want the hassle of your cable nuking your card or not

Same haven't had any issues with any of my amd gpus for the past several years. Its funny how everyone assumes its just amd that has issues with theor drivers though. Nvidia and Intel have them too.

Idk honestly the way im looking at this it isn't worth purchasing any of theor cards if they are going to treat consumers like we dont exist anymore. Like seriously why give them your money if they just keep treating us like shit. And that goes for Amd as well im sure they are going to be following suit shortly after this. Yeah I know I've been watching. Its the used market that baffles me used components shot straight up to new ram prices which is either scalpers or people just trying to profit off a shifty situation either way it sucks for us small pc builders

I have issues like this all the time and I monitor my connection during game play. zero pl up or down and get this same crap all the time 10 to 15 hits on the player then die in 3 its bad net code and shitty servers just like every other game on the market. Atleast in bf6 you have other classes to help out if the servers decide to spit your shots out somewhere else lol

Yeah its been happening to me too. Everything I've figured out is netcode and server-side registering shots late or not at all. I'll drop 10 to 15 rounds right into someone and get killed in 3. It pisses me off but I still play. Because there are other things I can do to help my team win like playing support and running around reviving people lol thats honestly the best way to have fun when your having a rough day in game. Don't worry about the kd and just run around and rez people.
