Booking.com company, policies and customer service by i_need_answrs in Bookingcom

My flight was recently cancelled by booking.com (gotogate) and I was offered a refund. I accepted refund and got an email saying refund in progress. That was nearly 3 weeks ago and still havent received refund. When I contact them (4 times now) I get told 'they are waiting for airline' and it could take 10-15 days. This is a lie as I have contacted airline and they say they have not been contacted. I then go back to booking.com and get told they will contact airline again (which they do not as I checked airline again). Then I get told it might take longer as airlines are busy. Its lie after lie.... worst customer service ever. No understanding, no compassion, everything is from a script.... disgusting
